Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design is one of Europe’s leading
centres of excellence for higher education in media and the creative
arts. The QS Worldwide University Rankings placed our research and
courses in Media, Journalism and Communications at the University of
Westminster among the top 50 globally. The University of Westminster’s
undergraduate course in Public Relations and Advertising is rated as one
of the top courses in its field in the UK.

We wish to recruit a Senior Lecturer to lead this course, to inspire
staff and students, and to enhance the range of professional and
academic experience we offer.

Our BA (Hons) Public Relations and Advertising course encourages
students to develop the practical and theoretical knowledge they will
need to succeed in today’s creative media industries and illuminate,
shape and lead the world of modern communication. With your motivational
style, you will ensure they develop a fully rounded skillset, from
multimedia and online techniques to traditional PR & Advertising skills
such as research, writing and creativity.

We are particularly interested in candidates with senior professional
experience and recognition in the public relations industry as well as a
distinguished academic record that includes teaching, research and/or
academic enterprise. You will also need to inspire staff and students by
sharing your expertise, stimulating innovative thinking and ensuring the
course modules are designed and delivered effectively.

In return, we will support you in your continuing personal and
professional development, including your research and academic
enterprise initiatives.
