THE MEDIATED CONSTRUCTION OF REALITY

In this lecture, Nick Couldry will present some of the core arguments discussed in his most recent book, The Mediated Construction of Reality (Polity Books, 2017), and elaborate on the implications these arguments have on social theory – especially in relation to stability/instability of social orders.
The distinguished lecture is organized in collaboration between the Department of Informatics and Media and the Department of Business Studies and will be followed by a seminar/panel debate with Nick Couldry and senior faculty from several departments at Uppsala University.
