The Discipline of Media and Communication Studies at the University of Helsinki is pleased to offer a course in Visual Media and Global Politics in cooperation with the The Helsinki Summer School. The course is a part of the Master’s Degree Programme in Media and Global Communication.
This summer we will be offering a new online course from June 9 to July 17, 2014: Environmental Communication: Research into Practice
From November 12-14, 2014, the Doctoral School of Organization and Management Studies at Copenhagen Business School will feature a PhD course titled “Investigating Hidden Organizing” (open for PhD students from all disciplines of the social sciences). The PhD course is organized by Hans Krause Hansen and Dennis Schoeneborn (both CBS) and will involve special guests like Craig Scott (Rutgers U) and Jana Costas (FU Berlin/CBS). Doktorandkursen Medier och verklighet – utökad anmälningsfriskt till den 22 mars
7-9 maj kommer doktorandkursen Medier och verklighet att ges av Aarhus universitet, institutionen för Æstetik og Kommunikation. Doktorander från samtliga nordiska länder är inbjudna. Det är en teoretisk kurs som omfattar mediumteori (McLuan), systemteori (Luhman). Aktör-nätverkstoeri (Latour) och kritisk teori (Bourdieu).
